Samsung hw-d550 home theatre system is uncomplicated, yet a great set of speakers that get the job done. Samsung hw-d550 was able to solve our problem by providing the room-filling sound. Connected to our Samsung LED, we are able to accomplish what we always wanted and the speaker bar fits perfectly on our mantel. If you want a fuller sound at lower volume with a little bit of bass thrown in, then this is the best.

I have been using this Samsung hw-d550 for a few months and I had it hooked up to my UN55C8000. Even if I had to enable Anynet to get the sound to work, everything about this system is great. I am very pleased with this theatre system.

I just received this Samsung hw-d550 and the unit is easy to set up, especially for a novice like me. The instructions are very easy to follow and complete enough. The sub-woofer and the main unit are factory synced. So, all you need to do is to turn the system on. Contrary to one review, the 3D option of this unit Works Great.

The only drawback that I noticed is that the manual is confusing and the cables are difficult to plug-in. I also noticed that there are some drops in the sound, although I am not confident if it is because of my other attachments. On the overall, this Samsung hw-d550 is able to deliver what it promised.

The Samsung hw-d550 looks very exceptional. IMO is the finest looking Sound Bar on the market. The sound is outstanding. I have read some reviews that said music of this unit does not sound that great, but if you use the Music setting; I found it to be more than acceptable. This sound bar is truly great when watching television or movies. Dialog is very clear and full sounding. The sub-woofer harmonizes the sound bar very well, blending the bass greatly into the mids and highs of the bar. I have been enjoying the 3D Sound setting. At first, it sounded a little awkward, but once my ears adjusted; I found myself utilizing that setting particularly for movies. Most people who gave their reviews agree with me that Samsung hw-d550 is the best looking sound bar on the market, the audio is truly great for television and movies and the wireless feature is superb.
